Dryers for compressed air circuits: refrigeration, adsorption, membrane dryers

The water in the compressed air represents the major pollutant because it is present in abundance in all installations. Compressed air dryers help eliminate it. You will find below our different ranges of dryers.

MEMBRANE DRYERS

Dry compressed air is essential !

Where does the water come from?

It comes from the water vapor naturally present in the ambient air. Sucked with air by the compressor, it is found - like other pollutants - concentrated according to the compression ratio. The cooling of the compressed air causes this moisture to condense and appear as liquid water.

How much?

At the average atmospheric conditions prevailing in France, a 100 m3 / h compressor will "produce" 6.5 liters of condensate in 8 hours.

Dry... yes but how far?

The degree of drying depends on the intented use and the configuration of the site. It is expressed in dew point under pressure. You can download HERE the dew point table.

ISO quality class

The ISO 8573-1 standard defines the quality classes for the residual water content. See ISO for: RESIDUAL WATER

What compressed air dryer technology?

By refrigeration, by adsorption or by membrane, each compressed air dryer technology meets specific needs. In the right column you will find a detailed description of each series of dryers in our catalog. Our technicians are on hand to advise you on the right dryer for your application
