Reliable condensate removal is imperative and avoids many costly problems. The condensate drains are an essential link in the compressed air circuit. Several types of condensate drains are available: by a solenoid valve, with level or capacitive detection, or magnetic without electric supply.

Purge networks effectively

The compressed air upstream of the air dryer is saturated with humidity. As it travels through the pipes, the air cools and condenses this humidity. This process is accelerated in forced cooling installations (Final refrigerant, refrigeration dryer, etc.). A reliable purge system is therefore necessary in order to extract this water (called condensate) from the network.

Timed solenoid valves

A compact programmer, installed between the connector and the coil, allows automatic control of the opening and closing of the valve. The purge interval and time are user adjustable.

Capacitive drains, with level detection

These latest generation traps have the advantage of adapting to the volumes of condensate generated and eliminating them without loss of compressed air. Their operation is entirely managed by the integrated electronics and does not require any adjustment on the part of the user.

Steam drains without power supply

For certain specific applications (Construction sites, A.D.F., electricity not available) this type of steam trap provides a reliable and suitable solution.

Foire aux questions

These traps incorporate a condensate storage tank fitted with sensor (s) capable of detecting a maximum level and a minimum level in this tank. An electronic module initiates the purge when the high level is reached and stops this purge when it reaches the low level. This leaves a small volume of liquid in the tank which prevents any loss of compressed air. These traps require special care during installation. In fact, the flow of condensate to the trap takes place only by gravity. Improper installation prevents condensate from entering the trap, so the trap cannot operate.
