Condensate purifiers for compressed air circuit

It is forbidden to discharge the condensate of oily compressed air into the sewer or into the environment without prior purification. To this end, the condensate purifiers make it possible to comply with current standards for the treatment of condensates in compressed air circuits.

Oil concentrations up to 10,000 mg / l are not exceptional.

What the law says?

Compressed air condensates are affected by 3 main texts:
- The water law of January 3, 1992.
- The decree of March 29, 1993.
- The decree of March 1, 1993.

What rejection values?

The total hydrocarbon content is limited to 10 mg / liter for classified installations as soon as the total discharge from the site exceeds 100 grams per day. For other installations, the value is 20 mg / liter. These values can be adjusted downwards by different official bodies depending on the location of the company. (DDASS, basin agency, town halls, etc.)

Our purifiers guarantee total compliance.

PURO ELITE separators guarantee a maximum value of 10 mg of oil per liter of condensate. They accept all types of compressor lubricants (including synthetic and polyglycol.) From all types of condensate traps.

Foire aux questions

Yes. The discharge of condensate to the sewer cannot be done without prior treatment. The discharge of hydrocarbons (including compressor oils present in compressed air condensates from lubricated compressors) is regulated by the environmental code (Art. R211-60) and the decree of February 2, 1998 (Art 32) The installation of a condensate trap - or oil / water separator - is therefore essential for compliance with the legislation.
