Activated carbon filters - Grade A
Absolute de-oiling
Oil in the form of vapours cannot be stopped by coalescing filters. PNX-A activated carbon filters are specifically designed to remove hydrocarbon vapours, tastes and odours from compressed air.
Reserved for applications requiring excellent air quality (food processing, medical, breathing air...).
To be installed at the end of your compressed air treatment line.
- Adsorption of residual oil vapours up to 0.003 mg/m3 at 20°C (ISO Class 8573 = 1)
- Filter bowl with screw stop. Prevents overtightening, installation and removal without tools.
- New: Thanks to the QR Code on the filter, you can easily find the manual and certificates for your PHENIX filter !
- Trap can be dismantled from the outside! Easy removal and maintenance. (From PNX 120 upwards).
- Maximum efficiency, minimum pressure drop: up to 55% less pressure drop!
- Longer service life thanks to a specific pleating increasing the filtration area by 250% compared to a conventional element!
- Colour coding of the filter elements: black.
- Total internal and external corrosion protection by KTL Dip-Coating cataphoresis.
- Filters in compliance with Directive 14/68 for pressure equipment for group 2 gases.
- Design in accordance with ISO 12500.
- Manufacturing certified to ISO 9001.
- Silicone-free materials.

These PHENIX-A filters must be installed downstream of an advanced filtration system (PNX-M and PNX-S).
The elements contain an activated carbon with high adsorption power, chosen for its selective performance on hydrocarbons.
