The FRIOFLEX range and the FRIOREVERSE heat pumps are tailored to most demanding industrial uses.
It offers precise control over the chilled water temperature with absolute reliability in its continuous use. Each unit is equipped with components carefully selected for their performance and manufacturing quality.
The self-supporting structure is made out of steel and coated with a polyester powder paint, offering excellent resistance to atmospheric agents, in particular for an exterior installation. The fixation elements are made of stainless or electro-galvanised steel.
The fans are arranged in a way that they do not represent any danger for accessing the hydraulic section and the compressor compartment.
Maintenance operations can be safely undertaken while the machine is running. The frontal compressor compartment is accessible on all three sides and is independent from the condensing compartment.
Manufactured of top quality materials by skilled personnel according to strict brazing procedures, conforming to Directive 2014/68/EU.
It is composed of:
• scroll compressors for R410A refrigerant
• AISI 316 stainless steel plate evaporator
• copper and aluminium condenser
• dehydrator filter
• sight glass with moisture indicator
• external equalisation thermostatic expansion valve
• high pressure switch with manual reset
• low pressure transducer with semi-automatic reset
• gauges for high and low pressure
• pressure connections for checks and maintenance
Composed as a standard with a stainless steel brazed plates evaporator and linking pipework, it also comprises a differential pressure switch which protects the evaporator in case of the absence of a water flow.
All units can be equipped with a multistage centrifugal pump (optional), with steel impeller.
The motor is asynchronous, 2-pole, self-ventilated, class F insulation and P55 protection level. All parts coming into contact with fluid are AISI 304 stainless steel.
All units can be used with a mix of water and ethylene glycol (up to 30% concentration).
Many optional configurations are available:
• the entire series is available with three pressure levels (2, 3 or 5 bar)
• double pumps with automatic switching (emergency pump)
• stainless steel water tank integrated to the unit
• double-circuit integrated decoupling tank
The units can be equipped with different tank variants: open, pressurised, stainless steel.

All units are equipped with scroll compressors with an oil level sight glass and a heating resistor for the carter. They are protected by a reverse phase protection unit. Compressors are mounted on rubber anti-vibration blocks to reduce noise even further.
The compressors offer very high EER and are extremely reliable.
The condenser is made of copper pipes and aluminium fins. An optional cataphoresis treatment is possible to protect against corrosion, particularly for hostile environments.
Two fans with four poles, axial motors with profiled and serrated impellers. The ventilators are coupled directly to the motors with external rotors and protected with a grid.
The fans have an internal heat protection with automatic resetting, class F insulation.

a condensing pressure control thanks to a step choking (standard) or thanks to a continuous fan speed regulation system (optional) extending machine operating limits and making it quieter when the outer temperature is low or when it operates with a reduced load.
Ventilators with electronic regulation (type EC) are an option as well. With an linear regulation 0 to 100% thanks to the electronic controller, the fans offer great flexibility, in particular in extremely cold settings.
With AISI316 stainless steel brazed plates, compact in size and really efficient.
The antifreeze security of the electronic controller checks the output air temperature in order to prevent any freezing up.
A differential pressure switch protects the evaporator in case the water flow ceases. A mechanical filter at the inlet protects the entire hydraulic circuit against debris from the installation blocking the water flow.
Control panel complying with EN 60204 CE, with door lock disconnector (blocks access to the control panel when it is live) and watertight door to access electronic control. Manufactured out of galvanised sheet metal, coated with polyester powder paint. Includes circuit breaker protectors for compressors and pump, contactors, autotransformers, compressor rotation direction control devices; panel wires are numbered; to make use easier there is an ON/OFF switch on the panel door.
Optionally, a heating element can be installed for an installation in cold climates or ventilation (natural or forced by internal ventilators) for use in summer or in tropical climate.
