The purification of compressed air is not reserved for manufacturers or "large" flows. There are many low flow applications that require perfectly clean compressed air.
This is particularly the case for laboratories which, when using compressed air or other gases, require the most perfect purification possible.
You may not have identified them as such, but the Micrafilter filter series are specially designed for the requirements of these applications.
Micrasteel filters in polished 316 stainless steel meet the most stringent specifications and withstand pressures up to 350 bar. They are perfect for filtering gases at very high pressures (eg nitrogen filtration at the outlet of the bottle, etc.).
Micrasorb filters offer an impressive variety of various selective adsorbents intended to purify the air of unwanted pollutants (water vapor or hydrocarbons, acid gases, CO2, SOx, etc.).
The Micradif series offers filtration for particles with an efficiency of up to 99.9998% at 0.3 µ absolute.
