From 2 kW to 17 kW

The FRIOCUBE range is tailored to low-power industrial uses.
Its modern components offer a wide range of possible configurations, adapting perfectly to any cooling process. A proportional control valve guarantees a water temperature with +/-0.5K precision compared to the set-point. The FRIOCUBE is ideal for applications needing a precise and stable water temperature such as laser-cutting, precision mechanics, plastic extrusion, the pharmaceutical and food industry, etc.

Structure

The cabinet and self-supporting structures are made out of steel and coated with a polyester powder paint. All fasteners are made of stainless or electro-galvanised steel.
The detachable panels allow easy access to the interior of the unit for maintenance operations.
All models come with lifting lugs.
The clear layout  of components, cooling circuit, hydraulic circuit and the numbering of electric cables allow for easy verifications by the operators themselves.
Wheels can be added on demand for easy movement of the unit on premise.

Complete cooling circuit

Manufactured of top quality materials by skilled personnel according to strict brazing procedures, conforming to Directive 2014/68/EU.
 
It is composed of:
    •    rotary or scroll compressors

    •    coaxial copper evaporators or stainless steel brazed plates

    •    epoxy coated aluminium condensator with micro-canals

    •    dehydrator filter

    •    sight glass with moisture indicator (FRC006 to 017)

    •    external equalisation thermostatic expansion valve (except FRC001)

    •    high pressure switch with manual reset (from FRC006 on)

    •    gauges for high and low pressure

    •    pressure connections for checks and maintenance


Hydraulic circuit

All models have hydraulic systems free of ferrous materials, making for an ideal solution for industrial applications. All units can be used with a mix of water and ethylene glycol (up to 30% concentration).

    •    insulated inertial tank at atmospheric pressure, made out of ABS (FRC001 to 005) and PVC

    •    hydraulic system out of copper and PVC

    •    thermally isolated circulation pump, made out of non-ferrous material (steel, brass or plastic, NBR or EPDM gaskets depending on models)

    •    integrated and calibrated by-pass (avoids consequences of mishandling of the water shut-off valve)

    •    differential pressure switch on the water circuit (from FRC006 on)

    •    water pressure gauge

    •    drain valve

    •    water filler or complement cap


Compressor

The rotary and scroll compressor technologies offer the best technology for this range of products.
The Friocube water chiller is extremely reliable and efficient, and is largely used for air conditioning. The scroll compressor is much appreciated for its silence, absence of vibrations and has no problems concerning liquid floodback.
The compressors are mounted on silent blocks in order to reduce noise even more. They are protected by an electronic reverse phase protection unit.

Condenser

This compact and performant condenser made entirely out of aluminium makes for a more compact and lighter machine thanks to its micro-channels. This condenser significantly reduces the refrigerant gas charges (-30% compared to traditional solutions).
All condensers are protected with an epoxy coating which insures high resistance to corrosion, even in harsh environments.
The pure aluminium manufacturing avoids any risk through galvanic corrosion. From the model FRC006 onward, all condensers are protected with a detachable and washable stainless steel filter.
