The FLODIR 591 thermal mass flow controller provides information on the direction of fluid flow.

It can be used on compressed air and non-corrosive gases.

The sensor element is very robust and entirely made of stainless steel. This controller can be inserted into the pipeline using a ½" ball valve.

Information relating to the direction of flow is transmitted via 2 relays. These signals can be transmitted to the various mass flowmeters of the installation to activate or deactivate their flow measurement according to the direction of passage of the fluid.

  • Detects the smallest changes in direction of passage: <0.1 m / s at +20 ° C and 1000 hPa
  • No mechanical wear parts
  • Easy installation under pressure
